Research & Volunteers
Raptor Center Indonesia is also open for students or researchers
to be vollunteers and studying about wildlife as long as those
animals are kept and rehabilated in Raptor Center Indonesia
before their re-intruduction to their habitats.
Criteria for research at the animal
rescue centers .
- Any research done, may in no way bring bodily or emotional
harm to the animals in our care.
- Research should be of benefit to the general cause of
conservation and the mission of the wild animal rescue center
network.
- Research should be of good quality and be evaluated by
our Scientific Advisory Committte.
- Priority will be given to that research which most benefits
the animals.
- Anyone doing research at one of the animal rescue centers
has to provide the manager with a recent certificate of
good health ( Hepatitis B and TBC negative).
- Any researcher at all times has to follow instructions
of the local manager.
- Donation US$100/mounth for animals are kept and rehabilated
as long as in RCIC and we can provide on site accomodation
and food only and only when the situation allows it, to
be decided by the local manager .
Volunteers In principle the RCI are
open for the assistence of volunteers. Please follow the procedures
as follows .
- You have to be healthy and during the interview proven
to be motivated for the cause of conserving wildlife.
- Follow all the rules.
- Donation US$100/mounth for animals are kept and rehabilated
as long as in RCI and we can provide on site accomodation
and food only and only when the situation allows it, to
be decided by the local manager .

General requirements for RCI volunteers
- Must be 18 years of age or older. (Some event volunteers
may be 14-17 years old, if supervised.)
- Must be willing to commit to a regular schedule for a
minimum of 6 month.
- Most crews require health insurance, an insurance waiver,
and an up-to-date tetanus vaccination.
